Dear PACeS Family,
I pray that each are experiencing a restful and relaxing summer break! My wife and I were able to travel to Quebec and Prince Edward Island for a few weeks which was an incredible blessing. With only one month left before the beginning of a new school year, I am excited to begin my role as the Principal for Prairie Adventist Christian eSchool. While I know change can sometimes be daunting and there will undoubtedly be challenges in this upcoming year, I am encouraged by the command that God gave in Joshua 1:6-9
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.”
Firstly, I want to express my immense gratitude to Mrs. Heidi Morehouse and the incredible work that she has done for PACeS over the years. She has truly been a leader for Adventist Education and a servant of God. I am certain that the whole PACeS community is appreciative of the leadership, knowledge, and care that she has provided during her time and we wish her the best as she follows God’s path in the future.
I also want to thank the school family and teachers for your kind words and encouragement as you have welcomed me to PACeS. I am excited to get to know each of you more and to be able to grow with you as we serve Christ in education. I know that God is doing a special work with PACeS and I look forward to working alongside each of you this coming year. I am praying for God’s continued guidance and protection as we begin preparing for the 2021-2022 school year.
As we start this new journey together, I want to encourage each of you to be strong and courageous no matter what challenges may come your way. Thank you again for the privilege of being part of this amazing educational ministry and I know we can accomplish great things together with God.
In Him,
Mr. David Elias
Principal for PACeS
