- It is exam time for Gr. 10-12 this week in PACeS. This is a busy time of the year for the high school students and teachers as the first semester ends and the second one begins. Your new textbooks are on the way to you and I will be enrolling you in your new classes in Elluminate, Moodle and engrade. As we get ready to begin a new semester I want to remind you to check engrade on a regular basis. I would encourage parents to check in once a week.
- On February 24th, we will be meeting for our Ski Day in Alberta at Canyon Ski Hill in Red Deer. I will be sending out information packages with specific details to you.
- Please check the calendar to the right of this page to see what is coming up at PACeS
- If your family has been doing interesting things at home with your school work or trips, please send me a picture so that I can post it and share with the rest of the school. We’d love to know what you are doing. I know that the Kindergarten class made some camping center’s this week so if any of you would like to share please send me a photo and I will post it.
During my morning devotions this week, I read the following: “Strive to trust Me in more and more areas of your life. Anything that tends to make you anxious is a growth opportunity. Instead of running away from these challenges, embrace them, eager to gain all the blessings I have hidden in the difficulties” – Sarah Young
I have re-read this quote over the last few days many times trying to remind myself that when I put my complete trust in God he has blessing in store for me that I cannot even imagine. My prayer for each of you is that you will continue to trust God and wait and see what he has in store for you.
Proverbs 3:5-6
New International Version (NIV)
5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
6 in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight.
Have a blessed week,
– Heidi Lehmann
