- One of our parents saw an interview about this website and passed the info onto me. Check it out, it looks quite good. Thanks for sharing! They were saying that they created it to help children understand the news and the context of the news. They do not include news stories on violent crime. Its target audience is grade 2-8. I had a quick look and it looks like it may be of interest to some of the families.http://teachingkidsnews.com/
Last weekend I was able to attend the Amy Grant concert at “Breakforth” in Edmonton. I found her concert to be very meaningful. She was purposefully worshiping and came across as very humble and real. She was not there to perform, she was there to praise God.
One of the songs she sang was “Put a little love in your heart”. Some of the lyrics are below:
I hope when you decide
Kindness will be your guide
Put a little love in your heart
And the world will be a better place
And the world will be a better place
For you and me
Listening to her sing reminded me of the importance of kindness. Take the time to be kind this week. It’s easy…and puts a smile on your face.
