Required Technology

This list of hardware/software requirements is a general list only and applies mostly to the online program. Other requirements for individual teachers will be linked below and/or recommended as needed on the specific Student Resources Page.

Hardware requirements

In order for you to be a part of the online learning adventure it is necessary to have a computer, headset with microphone, webcam, printer/scanner, and access to an Internet connection (high speed connection if possible). These components will enable you to enjoy many learning opportunities and to communicate with your teacher and classmates.

Software Requirements

Our online classroom software is Blackboard Collaborate v12.

You will need to have Java installed on your computer to enable the software to run. Download Java

Note: We use Google Apps for Education for many of our school processes. We strongly recommend that students use Google Chrome as their web browser for school activities.
